As Syria is the cradle of civilizations, we named this establishment “Mesopotamia”. It is the international ancient name of the civilization of al-Rafiden countries. The land of all foreign languages writtin into Latin and Slavianian letters, -Beth Nahrin- into Syriac ( Aramaic) sister of Arabic and the “Land between the two rivers” into Arabic attributed to Syria, whose lands are located at the banks and between the two rivers al-Khabor and Balikh from one side, and the great Euphrates and Tigre, from other side.
It is not by chance that hundreds of experts and astronomers came to Syria from all sides of the world with their scientific equipements and tools, in 1999, and observed the eclips from the twelfth towers (sundial) constructed on the front of the Roman bridge, which was built on Tigre, which flows 50 km, in the Syrian region ‘Ein Diwar’.
The logo of our establishment is designed of the proud-high Syrian eagle, which expresses our Syrian civilization. It is made of agate and gold. It was discovered in tell Brak, in 1994, near al-Kameshli. It is kept in Deir az-Zor Museum under number 13246. Its date is the third millennium B.C. There is also another eagle discovered in Mari kingdom, in Abo Kamal. It is kept in the National Museum of Damascus., the heritage and deep-rooted civilization, from its monuments ar-Rassafah city in the Syrian Badeyah, ar-Rahbeh citadel in al-Mayadin city at the banks of Euphrates.
Besides achieving artistic works, our establishment announces its readiness to cooperate with all sectors working in this field, public and private, Syrian, Arab or foreign. Our establishment is also prepared to participate in other fields towards enriching the cultural movement in Syria and in the Arab world through various historical and contemporary topics handled in the works of the establishment.
Our establishment has got special interest inthe cultural life of our communities spread in many countries all over the world, towards cooperating with them to produce works which handle their living affairs abroad, so as to attract them return home. The establishment opens its gates wide to receive all suggestions , opinions and conceptions provided by those working in this field (writers, directors, actors, etc… ) aiming at rendering service to the case of humanity and to sophisticated art.
