Bain AL-Nahren Establishment For Artistic Production, started  this TV series by  (permission)  certificate of property no: 421 dated   5/6/ 2006 and achieved it on 2005:

   TRAIN OF SHORT DISTANCES

      This material is a dramatic, social, and contemporary series consisting of thirty-one episodes, most of its roles played for the first time in the Syrian Arab al-Jazereh region (al-Hasakeh governerate - Kameshli) as the first artistic achievement of magnificent production ,written by Mr. Mustafa Barbar and directed by the Lebanese director Mr. George ghayyadh.

       Subject of the Series:

      The series depicts the trip along the journey of life made by some persons of limited vision and short sight regardless the effects of their actions on them in the future.

 This series throws light on a certain passive economic and social phenomena of various sectors of community in the countryside , urban rich and poor , educationists and their future , public sector employees, outlaw men , and smugglers. The series handles the reasons of the degeneration of social values through a new speculation  in the realm of artistic direction , such as the phenomenon of arbitrary polygamy and the influence of this action on the family unity and on the future of the children and their psychological situation, the phenomenon of brain drain and immigration of specialists of high efficiency for scare city of employment prospects in their countries ,burglary and looting public property and funds, falling down in the moor of financial greed and lust to achieve egoist ambitions , ignoring values traditions and public law in force in the community. All of those actions end in disappointment , frustration,  failure , and the conclusion is mirage.

Our work is distinguished with themes, performance of its actors, technician, high technique and its original orient music. This returns to the accuracy of our establishment in choicing elevated cadres and locations, in addition to giving it a time that is more than needful to produce, generously, with high precise and care;

1-   The establishment quested the professional director for two years. He worked to build each adobe in the text, elongating and lengthening its various axis, deeply, about its high dramatic line. The text is considered from the kind of high art in its observing themes.

It is suitable for all ages, sections and occasions, and harmonious with traditions and spiritual values spreading in all Arab countries. It is so motivating and touching daily concerns of people. The title expresses the journey of the age of man, how it seems hard, full of problems and frustration for people of minor visions.

2-   It contains 90 actors and actresses, between them 15 stars, distinguishing with their performance, including the technicians.

3-   More than 300 walkers-on shared in this work.

4-   Number of locations surpasses 125 ones, between internal and external, distributed from Damascus and its countrysides, to Lattakia and Aleppo, till Kameshli and its countrysides. The passed distances reached to 1700 km, one way.

5-   Time of photography had six months. As for the real days of photography, it had 104 days,

6-   Montage and mixage, in addition to composing of music had six months.

     Producing this series took two years of daily hard work and it costed 650000 $ six hundred fifty thousand US dollars.

Skandar Aziz, MR. Wafik Al-Zaeem , MR. Haitham Jaber Ms. Mania Nabwani , and a bunch of other Syrian artists.
